Hi! I’m Casey, and Catalyst Castle is my creative practice specializing in stop motion animation & sculptural illustration.
I’m a Los Angeles-based creative producer with Michigan roots. My work is often design-driven, kind, colorful, and infused with handcrafted charm. You can usually find me at the intersection of stop motion and motion graphics.
Through Catalyst Castle, I’m excited to strike out on my own and partner up with some new and exciting clients. Previously, I’ve worked at other animation studios in production management roles for clients such as AT&T, Honda, Mattel, Hasbro, and Epic Games; on features/specials for Netflix, Paramount, and Warner Bros; as well as on shows including The Cuphead Show, Ask the StoryBots, The Patrick Star Show, SuperMansion, and Robot Chicken.
I graduated with a BFA in animation and a concentration in business from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. Since then, I’ve worked in NYC, Portland, and Los Angeles, and I am forever dreaming of making my way back to Michigan. My many interests include snuggly animal pals, vegan cooking, true crime podcasts, teaching, lake life, playing marimba, and making ceramics.
